Rays App Reviews

I bought this based on the sample photos. They make it look like it adds rays to your images highlight areas while allowing you to choose the direction the arm coming from. However it doesnt work from the highlights just from the moveable direction point. The effect just doesnt look real and I dont find this app useful for anything.

I read the reviews and almost didnt get it, but I like it. Its fun and after playing with it for awhile, I really started to like it more. Im not just playing with landscapes, I made light come out my eyes. Lol. Cool app. I say try it. Of course it can be improved, but even as of now it IS worth the $0.99. I plan on doing more experiments in the morning. Lol.

This app amazed starting with the options ... The results were simply beyond my expectations and In addition to this , pretty r price for such an awesome app ... Buy buy buy buuuuuy :)

I didnt find anyplace on the devs website to make a suggestion, so Im going to make it here, hoping they will see it. It would be VERY useful to have a control for the number of degrees that the rays will encompass, from a single ray all the way around to a full 360 degrees, with the ability to rotate anything less than 360.

This app is so cool

I absolutely love the results that I can get using this app! It took me a bit to realize that you could and how to change the source from which the rays come. I discovered it by accidentally touching the screen and changing the place that the rays source came from. After that it was simple. Very nice!

This is amazing, absolutely beautiful. You must use appropriate photos plus correct direction and location in order to stimulate the sun ray. I use it a lot. Totally awesome. Thanks!

I absolutely LOVE this app! Love it love it love it. You can make awesome effects with it. I would love to see an update that allows you to eliminate some light sources from being affected. If some light in the pictures could be masked, that would make it 10 stars! Great job on this!!!!!!!!!

Im sorry, after seeing the few one star reviews I had to write one myself. These people who write things like that really dont take time to really use the app in depth and probably shouldnt be using their iPhone to edit pictures if they think this app doesnt offer enough or work properly, its just a bunch of bull. This app is amazing! If your always looking for apps to add to your iPhone photo editing arsenal then this app is a must have! You have tons of control so each edit will look very real and enhance your photos. Keep up the good work guys! Fantastic app!

Blows my mind!

Out of a myriad of photo apps in the app store I find myself gravitating towards this app when I am bored. This app always gives some interesting effects to my photos. This is a perfectly acceptable app for a buck! I think some people expect a full fledged photo editor for their iOS device for a dollar. Anyhow, For what this app does-- it does it well. I have no gripes..

This app has gone more than 16 months without a single update. Does that sound like an app that is lovingly cared for by the developer? Or is it proof that even the owner of this app has lost all interest in improving it? This is a dead app. Of that, you can be sure. If you purchase this app, rest assured that none of the items on your Wish List will ever come true. So you had better be willing to accept it, warts and all. And, after reading the reviews, there are definitely warts. BUYER BEWARE!!!

at first, i thought its just a simple tool to add lighting effects as a separate layer on top of the picture, but after trying it on a few photos taken indoor and outdoor, i was amazed. it processes the entire picture and generates light rays and shadows to create realistic effects. the interface is designed well and it takes only a few seconds to learn how to use it. supports screen rotation which is essential for photo editing apps and there are a few settings to control the effects intensity, brightness and color. it takes a little bit too long to save the photo but the final result is of high quality without losing any of the details from the original image.

this app is fantastic as it is, and it is super easy to make photos look like the samples they have. You just have to pick a photo with clear light sources(so not just a bright day one) and play with the source of light, which you can do too.

This app creates quite convincing sun rays. Very nice. However, it is very easy to mess up your point of origination by accidentally touching the screen. I would like to be able to lock the directional point while playing with the other sliders. Also, because your finger can obscure the preview of what you are doing to adjust the ray point, it would be nice to have a relative control mode somewhere out of the way to be able to position the point more easily. Other than that the app does what it purports to do and does it well. Not for every day, but a great tool to have in the arsenal.

This apps I just loaded then it works after using the filter its stuck/ freeze so decided to delete and load but the ap store asked me to pay this apps again freaking riff off. I got an email copy that I bought the apps and why I need to buy it again after I already bought it. Pls fix this and update your apps too its been a long time .

Like the app., but ready to delete it. It has to many bugs, and I get tired of having to close, and start over, and over several times to fight its bugs to get the result I want.
